Patuakhali Jamaat leader sent to prison

Jamaat-e-Islami Patuakhali district unit secretary Advocate Nazmul Ahsan was sent to prison in a sedition case yesterday. ASM Tareque Shams, Senior Chief Judicial Magistrate in Patuakhali rejected his bail petition at the end of the hearing after the Jamaat leader surrendered before the court. Nazmul Ahsan's lawyer advocate Mujibur Rahman Totana confirmed the news.  Police filed a sedition case with Patuakhali PS on April, 19 2015 against advocate Nazmul Ahsan with 13 other Jamaat activists.
