Road crash kills child

A child was crushed to death by a speeding tractor at Dakkhin Olipur village in Hajiganj upazila of Chandpur district yesterday.The deceased was Dudu, 4, only son of one Delwar Hossain, resident of the village.Quoting witnesses, Jabedul Islam, officer-in-charge of Hajiganj police station said Dudu was playing hide and seek along with other playmates in front of his home when a sand-laden tractor ran over him around 6.30am, leaving him dead on the spot.
