Shakib to lead Tigers in tri-nation first match

All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan will lead Bangladesh in the first match against hosts Ireland in the Tri-nation series as Mashrafe will be serving one-match ban, imposed by the ICC. 

Mashrafe was banned for one match due to a slow over rate during the ODI series against Sri Lanka. However he will back to the team in the next match against New Zealand. 
In the double-leg series, each team will play against each other twice which meant Bangladesh would get four matches in the series, an ideal preparation for the ICC Champions Trophy.
However after a 10-day long conditioning camp in Sussex, Bangladesh are in Ireland at the moment. They had already started their practice in a bid to take the best preparation for the series. Bangladesh will play a practice game tomorrow (Wednesday) ahead of the tournament proper.
After the series, Bangladesh will return to England to play the ICC Champions Trophy. After playing two practice matches, they will start the tournament playing against hosts England on June 1. Australia and New Zealand are the other team’s in Bangladesh’s group.
