Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid yesterday said the government has started its process to formulate a new law to stop the private coaching business, reports UNB."The government is providing all kind of facilities to teachers but some dishonest teachers are hampering the progress of the country coming to teaching profession," he said.The minister came up with the remarks while he was addressing a programme as the chief guest at M.C. Academy (Model School & College) in Golapganj upazila of Sylhet.Nahid said many teachers forced students to come to the coaching centre. The academy managing committee president Sirajul Jabbar Chowdhury presided over the meeting and academy principal Mansur Ahmed Chowdhury delivered the welcome speech.
