50 held in Satkhira

Satkhira: Police in separate drives arrested 50 people from different parts of the district on various charges, reports UNB.
Some 81 pieces of yaba tablet and 10 bottles of phensidyl were also recovered from their possession during the drive conducted from Friday evening to yesterday morning.
Mizanur Rahman, inspector of the Special Branch of Satkhira police, said the law enforcers arrested 17 people from the Sadar upazila, six from Kalarowa, four from Tala, seven from Kaliganj, five from Shyamnagar, five from Ashashuni, one from Debhata and five from Patkelghata upazilas.
The arrestees are accused in different cases like acts of sabotage, drug abuse, Mizan added.
