Dr Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh, the Speaker of Saudi Arabian Parliament, known as Majlis Ash-Shura or the Shura Council, will arrive in the capital on May 10 on a three-day visit with the aim to strengthen the relationship between the parliaments of both the countries.
While in Dhaka, he will hold meeting with his Bangladeshi counterpart Dr. Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury that will emphasise the importance of more interactions between the lawmakers of the two parliaments, said official sources.
Besides, they will also discuss the issues of mutual interests, they said.
The Saudi speaker, who is the fourth important citizen in terms of warrant of precedence in that country, will also meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He will depart the capital on May 12.
