Dhaka to ask Doha to recruit more workers

Bangladesh is going to request Qatar to employ more skilled and trained workers from Bangladesh, the Foreign Ministry said yesterday.

Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali will make the request during his upcoming visit to the oil rich Gulf nation from May 6 to 8, said a press release.
While in Doha, he will hold bilateral talk with his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al –Thani that will feature issues of mutual interest, international situation and ways and means to enhance the bilateral relations between the two countries.
Matters related to overall economic cooperation, trade expansion, increased Qatari investment in Bangladesh and human resources development will be highlighted during the tour.
