Pioneer soccer begins today

The biggest football competition of the country, the Dhaka South and North City Corporation Pioneer Football League will inaugurate today at the Bangabandhu National Stadium. 

A total of 2220 young booters of Under-16 of 71 teams will play in the Pioneer League, the main source of producing footballers which is also the pipeline of getting players for future.
The Pioneer League has been playing the important role to create players who ultimately play in the top level and also represent the different competition of national teams.
Meanwhile, lot of national stars in the previous times, who earned name and fame playing for the national team and as well as for clubs, were the product of the Pioneer League.
