After four months of assessment, the 2017 China Tea Brand Value List was released. Data show that the value of the 92 brands involved totaled 136.805 billion yuan. The average brand value was 1.487 billion yuan.
A total of 109 regional public tea brands in China were covered by the assessment. After examining various data on all brands, the assessment panel ranked Pu’er tea first among all others. The overall brand is valued at six billion yuan, followed closely by Xinyang Maojian tea— 5.991 billion yuan—and Fuding white tea at 3.553 billion yuan.
