From February 20 to April 20, the online version of Yunnan Kunhua Hospital cumulatively served 3,180 patients and carried out remote consultations for 15 subordinate hospitals. In the future, with the help of leading doctors, patients with difficult-to-treat diseases in Yunnan can receive remote consultations from a number of top Chinese hospitals through a micro-medical platform. Follow-up consultations can also be carried out online with the doctors in charge at local hospitals.
Yunnan Kunhua Hospital’s online service went into trial operation on February 20. It provides people with online appointment registrations, inquiries, remote consultations, electronic prescriptions, the online purchase of medicine and other payments, as well as other other on- and offline medical services. Through partnerships between medical institutions, Yunnan’s special geographical environment will no longer prevent patients in the province from enjoying high-quality medical services. Through the Internet, people can receive consultation from experts all over the country, truly achieving patient-centred diagnosis and treatment.
