Aam Panna

During the Bengali month of Boishakh, the weather in our country becomes quite hot and humid. To many, ‘aam panna’ is
a popular drink during this time of the year. This refreshing drink is easy to make. And besides being tangy, it’s good for your health as well.
Here is a simple recipe to make aam panna is just a matter of minutes:
Ingredients
4 medium size raw green mangoes
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tablespoon roasted cumin powder
Black salt (bit laban or rock salt) and regular salt, according to taste
4 cups of water
1 tablespoon chopped mint leaves
5 regular ice cubes or crushed ice
Preparation
Peel the raw mangoes, grate or mince the pulp.
Add all the ingredients, except the ice, in a jar and mix well.
Add the ice cubes, or keep the mixture in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.
This is the simplest way to make aam panna. Enjoy!
