Bulbuli earns silver medal

Senawara Akhter Bulbuli of Bangladesh earned a silver medal in the Thailand Open Karate Do Championship in Bangkok yesterday.

Bulbuli participating in the minus 66 kg weight category, went down to a Thai competitor in the final. Nepal won the bronze medal in the event.
A nine-member Bangladesh team are taking part in the three day 18-nation meet which started in the Thai capital on Saturday. Bangladesh has sent even number of four karatekas in men’s and women’s events. Bangladesh Karate Federation general secretary Sheikh Ali Ahsan Badal is accompanying the team as manager.
