Raudha killed in a planned way, claims father

Mohamed Athif, father of Maldivian medical student Raudha Athif, once again claimed that her daughter was killed in a planned way and the authorities concerned of the college and the physicians are trying to hush up the matter.

Raudha was strangled to death…signs were there on her body, Athif, who is a physician, told a press briefing at Rajshahi Press Club yesterday. Reading out a written statement, he said, "We all saw the exact mark its color and appearance”. Later, Mohamed Athif formed a human chain and holding a banner in front of Rajshahi Press Club at Shaheb Bazaar of the city and appealed to her college authorities, investigation agencies and international right activists and investigative journalists to put all their collective efforts to bring out those behind her death to justice.
Meanwhile, the body of model Raudha Athif will be exhumed for a second autopsy today.  However; Raudha's father Mohamed Athif decided to hire a forensic expert from abroad. While talking to The Independent Mr Athif confirmed the matter yesterday. They are trying to bring Dr Dinesh, a forensic expert from India and he is likely to present today when Raudha's second autopsy will be done, Athif said. 
"We are already talked to the authority of Rajshahi Medical College and CID for permission", Athif added. Meanwhile, Rajshahi Medical College formed a three-member medical team for performing second autopsy of Raudha.  They are Dr Amirul Chowdhury, Associate Professor of Forensic Department of Shahid M Monsur Ali Medical College in Sirajganj, Dr. Mahbub Hafiz, Associate Professor of Forensic Department of North Bengal Medical College in Sirajganj and Dr Hafizur Rahman, Associate Professor of Radiology and Imaging Department of Rajshahi Medical College.
