Do not to use BCL for personal interests

Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader yesterday directed the Awami League (AL) leaders not to use the activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) as tools for fulfilling their personal interests, reports BSS from Chittagong. "Don't use BCL as sentinel for personal gains as this will harm both you and BCL. Don't build houses within a house", Quader warned. Quader, also the Awami League (AL) General Secretary, said this while addressing the representatives' meeting of Chittagong north district AL at city community centre yesterday afternoon.
Speaking on the occasion, Quader urged the party activists to get united forgetting all intra-party feuds and grouping as the national election is going to be held in next two years.
He also urged the party men not to smear the achievements of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through their bad manners with people.
Issuing a strong warning for the party's grass-root level leaders and activists, Quader said all must abide by the party rules as no deviation of the spirits and ideals of the party will be allowed.
"Those involved in anti-discipline activities and misdeeds, you please correct yourselves. No one will be spared if you don't. It's the directive of our leader (Sheikh Hasina)," he said.

Terming Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as a wonder of the world and role model of development and achievement, Quader said, the development and achievements must not be faded away for the bad behaviours of a handful of persons.
He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also the President of ruling Awami League, is well informed about everyone involved in the party.
