Leo Club of Dhaka Gandaria in association with Novo Nordisk on Friday provided a one-year education cost of 11 intellectually challenged children of SWID Bangladesh School situated at Eskaton, reports UNB.
Each student received Tk 8,000. Lions Club of Dhaka supported Leo Club to distribute the money among the children. A group of employees of Novo Nordisk extended their financial support to these children as part of their TakeAction activity.
TakeAction is Novo Nordisk’s global employee volunteer programme to make a difference, said a press release.
