SUB holds career fair

A two-day career fair organised by the pharmacy department of State University of Bangladesh kicked off yesterday, according to a press release. A large number of pharmaceutical companies participating in the fair to advertise their products as well as to attract fresh minds to the pharma sector. A number of companies has arranged for spot interviews in the fair besides collecting resumes from potential job seekers. Besides arranging for mock interviews for candidates, the companies and organisers will arrange programmes where industry leaders will be giving important insights to the attendees. The fair was inaugurated by SM Shafiuzzaman, secretary general of Bangladesh Association of Pharmaceutical Industries. Major General (Retired) M Shahjahan, vice chancellor (in charge) of State University of Bangladesh was present on the occasion along with others.
