Four alleged robbers arrested
Police arrested four alleged robbers from Rampura area in the capital yesterday. Talking to The Independent, Inspector Mahbubur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Rampura police station said getting secret information, a team of Rampura police raided at East Rampura area in the capital early yesterday and arrested four alleged robbers. The arrested were identified as Masum,25, Shah Alam,26, Arman,22 and Rubel,23. We also recovered two foreign pistols, four rounds of bullet and three sharp weapons from their possession he added. They were preparing to commit robbery in the area, the OC claimed. A case was filed in this connection with police station concerned and they were produced before a Dhaka Court yesterday seeking seven days remand, he further said.
