The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations of 2015 will be published on August 9, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said yesterday.
“The copy of the result will be handed over to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10:00am on August 9. Later the details of the results will be briefed to media at a press conference and then respective educational institutions will publish the results,” the minister told journalists at his office in the secretariat.
“The results of HSC and equivalent examinations will be published one day before the fixed period of 60 days. In the previous years, the results were published within 60 days,” he added.
This year 10,73,884 students under 10 education boards took part in the exams. Of them, 5,70,993 were male students and 5,02,891 female students.
The written exams began on April 1 and continued till June 11 and the practical exams started on June 13 and completed on June 22.
