A battalion commander level flag meeting between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) was held on Chanshikari frontier under Bholahat upazila in the district on Monday afternoon.Commanding officer of 59 battalion of BGB Lieutenant Colonel Md. Rashed Ali led the Bangladesh side at the meeting while the commandant of 82 battalion of BSF Shree Rajes Kumar represented the Indian side.BGB sources said before the flag meeting, two teams of surveyors of both the countries carried out surveys on constructing two link roads from Chanshikari to Chamusha and Chanshikari to Gilabari.As the surveyors found that the aforesaid two roads were near the international border line, they decided to refer the matter to the higher authorities of the two forces, the sources added.
