Full SC verdict on Mojaheed soon: AG

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam yesterday said the copy of the full verdict on death-row convict Jamaat Secretary General Ali Ahsan Mohammad Mojaheed would be available soon.
“I hope the copy of the full verdict on Mojaheed case will be released within two to three weeks,” the chief law officer of the state said while talking to reporters at his Supreme Court office yesterday.
After the copy is released, the government would initiate the process of Mojaheed’s execution. “But, if the condemned convict Mujahid files a review petition, the process of his execution would be halted automatically,” he added.
