5 held with fake Indian rupees

Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested five persons along with counterfeit Indian rupees of 15.34 lakh and equipment of making those from the capital's Adabar Thana area on Monday.
“We arrested five people from Mohammodi Housing Society area at 4.45pm yesterday and seized fake Indian currency 15.34 lakh and equipment of making those,” a DB official said.
The arrested, Bulbul Ahmed, Khairul Islam, Shamsul Haque, Shaheen Akhter and Alamgir Hossain, admitted their guilty of producing fake Indian currencies in connivance with Pakistani nationals and used to sell to Indian citizens through Shibganj border of Chapainawabganj, he also said.
