Body of boy recovered

Local people recovered the body of a schoolboy, who went missing in a boat capsize on Saturday, from the Brahmaputra River in Saheber Char area yesterday  morning. The body has been identified as Moniruzzaman Monir, 15, a class-VIII student of Shankchura High School in Gafargoan and son of Ashraful Alam Paran of Shakhchura village. Police said local people spotted the floating body in Saherber Char area, some three kilometers away from the spot, and informed police. Later, the body was handed over to his family.
