Biman Bangladesh Airlines has offered 20 per cent discount on six international routes to boost tourism, reports BSS.
The promotional offer will be available during the three-day international tourism fair dubbed “Biman Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BBTTF)” which is scheduled to begin on April 20 in city’s Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC).
A Biman statement yesterday said the national carrier is delighted to offer 20 per cent discount in economy class on six international routes as part its effort to provide convenience services to the travelers, especially the holiday makers.
The six routes are -Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka, Dhaka-Singapore-Dhaka, Dhaka-Yangon-Dhaka, Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka, Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka and Dhaka-Kathmandu-Dhaka.
After the 20 per cent off, the return fare on Dhaka-Bangkok-Dhaka route will stand at BDT 19,750 while Dhaka-Singapore-Dhaka at BDT 24,275, Dhaka-Yangon-Dhaka at 22,540, Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur-Dhaka at BDT 18,655, Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka at BDT 11,780 and Dhaka-Kathmandu-Dhaka at BDT 14,715.
The above fares are in net saleable from the BBTTF stall of Biman and the outbound journey must have to commence within 180 days from the date of issue of the ticket, added the statement.
