Woman beaten to death

A housewife was beaten mercilessly at Ghaga village under Lohagara upazila in Narail district on Saturday and she succumbed to her injuries at the local upazila health complex yesterday morning.
The victim was identified as Chompa Begum, 26, wife of Minto Biswas, 35, of the village.Police arrested the killer husband and filed a murder case in this connection, yesterday.Officer-in-Charge of Lohagara police station Sheikh Lutfar Rahman said police  sent the body to Narail Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy.
