JESSORE: Police recovered two dead bodies from the Nimtala Bazar in Chaugachha upazila of the district yesterday, reports BSS.
The deceased were identified as Ekser, 40 and Sidul, 35, residents of the Upazila.
Sub Inspector Anil Mukharjee of Chaugachha Thana said they were killed during the gunfight between two groups due to supremacy of drug trading in the area.
Police recovered the bullet injuries bodies and sent to Jessore Medical Collage Hospital where the attending doctors declared them dead, the SI added.
Police also seized one shutter gun and 150 bottles of phensidyl from the spot.
