Top leaders of Bangladesh Chattra League (BCL), the associate student body of ruling Awami League, yesterday slammed the media for what they said undermining it saying they publish news with wrong information about it, reports UNB.
"Bangladesh Chattra League is Sheikh Hasina’s strength. But, the organisation gets victimised sometimes by pen-terrorists only to weaken Sheikh Hasina,” said BCL general secretary Siddique Nazmul Alam.
He said this in the inaugural session of a two-day
council of Bangladesh Chhatra League at historic Suhrawardy Udyan. Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina attended the session as the
chief guest.
Nazmul also said, "We can see propaganda against BCL in our media. Biswajit’s killers didn’t belong to our organisation, but the media identified them as Chhatra League members.”
