Akbar said, “I am feeling wonderful to return to music world again. After the death of my mother in 2008, I became very helpless. Even, I had fallen severely sick at that time. I recovered my illness after suffering a lot. I am grateful forever to almighty Allah. I am also indebted to Hanif Sanket sir, because he mainly helped me to come back to the music scene again. I seek prayers from everyone that I can stay fine with my family. As well as, I want blessing from everyone that I can continue my singing for the audience.”
However, on the occasion of Pahela Baishakh, Akbar will perform in the stage shows in Manikganj and Parbatipur.
To note, Akbar came to limelight with the rendition of a song of Kishore Kumar titled ‘Ekdin Pakhi Ure Jabe Je Akashe’ through the popular magazine show ‘Ityadi’ in 2003. He did his first playback in the film ‘Kothin Purush’ directed by Shahadat Hossain Liton.
