Two killed in road accident

BOGRA: Two people were killed and two others injured as a truck hit a roadside tree in Erulia bazar area in the town yesterday noon, reports BSS. The victims are truck helper Pavel, 25, son of Rajib Pramanik and sand worker Jahangir Hossain, 35, son of Abdus Samad, residents of Baroipara village in Sadar upazila. In-charge of Bogra Uposahar Camp Azizul Haque said the accident occurred when the truck hit a roadside tree at the area as its driver lost control over the steering, leaving the duo dead on the spot and injured two others.
Injured truck driver Nilu, 30, and sand worker Shakil were sent to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
