Khandker Maksudul Hassan has recently been appointed chairman of Bangladesh Power Development Board (PDB), says a press release.
Hasan took over charge recently as the 32nd chairman of PDB.
Prior to the new appointment, he was serving the state-run agency as its member for distribution.
Hassan passed BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Khulna Engineering College in 1979. He joined PDB in 1980.
He joined Bangladesh Power Development Board as assistant engineer in 1980. Later, he served the BPDB as executive engineer at Meghnaghat 300MW power project.
KM Hasan visited different countries including Germany, France, Sweden, Finland, Japan, China, India and Bhutan.
