Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket Team will tour India to play a tri-nation series ahead of the next edition of the Under-19 Asia Cup.
Asia Cup for the youth is scheduled to take place in November in India. Before this tournament, the tri-nation will be held in between June and July with the participation of Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and India.
In this regard, AEM Kawser, national manager of BCB game development said that they will start the preparation for the tri-nation series in June just after the finish of the Youth Cricket League.
“Keeping the next World Cup in New Zealand in mind, the Bangladesh Under-19 Cricket Team have been training since last six months. They held a two-week-long training in Sylhet. They have been released for the Dhaka Premier League and Youth Cricket League,” said AEM Kawser.
“After the end of the Youth Cricket League, we will call them again in May. They have a tri-nation in India ahead. We will take our preparation for this,” Kawser told The Independent.
