Two killed in Ctg road mishap

CHITTAGONG: Two people were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Nondir Hat area on Chittagong-Rangamati road under Hathazari upazila of the district yesterday afternoon, reports BSS.
The identities of the victims could not be known immediately. Police outpost of Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) said the accident occurred when a Chittagong-bound passengers' bus collided head-on with a CNG-run three-wheelers in the area at about 3 pm, leaving two persons including CNG driver dead on the spot.
Meanwhile,Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a presumed drug trader with yaba pills at Shantirhat on Chittagong-Cox's bazaar highway early yesterday.
A team of RAB-7, Chittagong arrested him with 40,000 pieces of yaba tablets raiding in a city-bound truck coming from Taqnaf upazila of Cox's Bazar district around 3.30 am.
