Valuables worth Tk 4 lakh gutted

Valuable worth Tk 4 lakh were gutted at Amuchiya union under Boalkhali Upazila of Chittagong. The fire originated from a gas strove at around 9am. Five houses of five owners were gutted by the fire. Being informed one unit of fire fighter from Boalkhali fire station rushed to the spot and extinguished the blaze after an hour of frantic efforts, said Md Hafiz Ahmed Bhuiyan, officer of Boalkhali Fire Service and Civil Defense.
