No space for terrorist, militancy in country

Minister for Home Affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, there is no space for terrorist and militancy in the country, reports BSS.
The law enforcing agencies could combat terrorist and militancy with strong hand with the help of the people. The people of the country want peace and progress of the country said the minister while he was talking the journalists at Mymensingh police media centre yesterday noon.
Minister said, militancy is not a problem for our country but it is a global problem.
Minister said when the country is progressing fast under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina anti- liberation forces has been hatching conspiracies and disrupting the flow of development and peace.
He added the Prime Minister has taken zero tolerance policy against militancy. Accordingly, the law enforcers are conducting drives against terrorists.
Mentioning the successful drives against militancy by police and other law enforcers Minister said police attained the trust of the mass people by the moves against terrorist and militancy through sacrificing their lives.
Kamal said those who were involved in militant activities must be brought to book and punished.
Divisional Commissioner, Mymensingh GM Saleh uddin, DIG of Police Mymensingh Range Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, Additional DIG Akkas uddin Bhuiyan, Police Super Syed Nurul Islam and other high officials of police were present.
Later, the minister shared views with police officials and left for Purbadola upazil in Netrokona district.
