The government has taken different steps to provide facilities to the expatriate Bangladeshis and their families so that they can contribute more to the country's development, Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Nurul Islam BSc, reports BSS.
"The contribution of expatriate Bangladeshis to the country's development is laudable," he said addressing a discussion in Geneva, Switzerland on Monday, said an official release in Dhaka yesterday.
An 11-member Bangladesh delegation led by the minister is taking part in the two-day discussion.
