Man jailed for stalking girl in Bagerhat

Bagerhat: A mobile court here on Sunday sentenced a young man to one year imprisonment for stalking a girl in the district town, reports UNB.Police arrested Ripon Sheikh, 24, son of Abu Sheikh of Bager Bazar for disturbing the girl on her way to Shubhechha Primary School.He was later produced before a mobile court led by executive magistrate Nazim Uddin.After examining witnesses, the court sentenced Ripon to year’s imprisonment.
