A bomb disposal unit of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) resumed bomb disposal work at militant den Atia Mahal at Shibbari in Dakkhin Surma upazila here on Monday morning six-day after the army-led operation, reports UNB from Sylhet. Zedan Al Musa, additional deputy commissioner (Media) of Sylhet Metropolitan Police, said that the team arrived at the spot in the morning and started their work at 8am. Besides, police, fire service and medical teams have been kept prepared to face any situation, said Musa. During the four-day army-led operation ‘Twilight’, at Atia Mahal four militants, including a woman, were killed and two bodies were recovered from the hideout the following day. The bodies of two other militants which could not be taken out of the building will be recovered today, added the SMP official.
