Crucial match for Abahani, Mohun Bagan today

Dhaka Abahani Limited and Kolkata Mohun Bagan,  the giants of two neigbouring countries, will face in a crucial AFC Cup match today to be held at the Rabindra Sorobar, Kolkata.

Both teams are on same position in the point table in the ongoing AFC Cup when both the sides suffered defeat in their opener when Abahani Limited suffered 0-2 defeat at their home pitch to Maziya Sporting and Recreation Club of Maldives while Mohun Bagan went down in their away match to another Indian side Bengaluru FC by 1-2.
According to their previous head to head history Mohun Bagan are fully ahead of the visitors, as before this encounter they faced, Indian giants have better winning records.   
However, there is no option left for both the Bangladesh Premier League Champions and the I League Champions but to win the mach to remain in the race and fans of Dhaka and Kolkata are very excited, as for recent time Abahani and Mohun Bagan did not face each other in any occasion or even in friendly affairs. 
Mohun Bagan are highly boosted up when they demolished Bengaluru FC by 3-0 in the I League match on April 1 to take sweet revenge of their 1-2 defeat in AFC Cup.
But Abahani, by this time, after the match of Maziya Club did not play even any practice match when the manager of the team Sattayajit Das Rupu informed from Kolkata informed yesterday that all players are okay.

Rupu is very much cautious about the Mohun Bagan’s two foreign booters, Sony Norde of Haiti and Katsumi Yusa of Japan citing the name of these forwards, said, “We will have special care about Katsumi and Sony, in fact we will be strict about our defense.”
Rupu repeatedly said that Sony and Katsumi would be very effective and also said, “It will be very tight match, chances will have to utilize.
