Girls’ event semis today

The girls’ semifinals of Polar Icecream School Handball Tournament will be held today at Shaheed M Monsur Ali Handball Stadium. Title aspirants Viqarunnisa Noon College & School will meet Shaheed Anwar Girls College & School in the first semifinal at 11am, while the second semifinal will take place between Shaheed Nabi High School and Scholastica (Uttara) at 12 noon.
Meanwhile, five more girls’ matches were held on the day. Scholastica (Mirpur) beat Motijheel Govt Girls High School 5-2, Siddeswari High School beat Heed International 10-0, Viqarunnisa beat BAF Saheen 2-0, Shaheed Nabi School beat Sunnydale 11-2, Sunnydale beat Green Herald International School 5-0, Shaheed Anwar College & School beat Dhanmondi International 3-1 and Shaeed Nabi School beat Green Herald International School 13-2.
And in the boys’ event,  St Gregory’s School beat South Point 19-5 and Ideal  School & College beat Narinda Govt School 15-12.
