Three Bangladeshi youths, who had been languishing in Indian prison for two years, returned home through Benapole check post on Thursday night, reports UNB.
They are Zakir Hossain, 22, son of Sohrab Hossain of Khejurbaria village in Debhata upazila, Saidul Islam, 26, son of Mostafa Gazi of Gabura village in Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira district and Babul Chandra Ray, 23, son of Bakul Chandra Ray Deu Daktarpara village in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur district.
Indian Immigration Police handed them over to the members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) at Benapole check post.Fazlur Rahman, sub-inspector of Benapole Check Post Police Immigration, said the three youths went to India illegally in search of jobs two years back. Indian police arrested them from a house in Tamilnaru of India.
