Grocery shops gutted in Ctg
CHITTAGONG: At least two grocery shops and a rickshaw garage were gutted in a devastating fire at Mohora under Chandgaon thana in the city early yesetrday. Police and fire brigade sources said the fire originated from a mosquito coil at the rickshaw garage around 1.30 am yesterday and quickly engulfed the adjacent garage and shops. On information, two fire fighting vehicles from Agrabad commercial area rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire around 3.30 am. Fire service sources said the extent of loss from the fire could go up to Tk three lakh.
