More allocation stressed for boosting human resources

RAJSHAHI: Educationists called for more budgetary allocation to education sector for boosting human resources, reports BSS. They urged for special budgetary allocation to promote technical and vocational education for transforming the youths into competent manpower. Channel I arranged the pre-budget discussion at Shaheed Mamun Mahmud Police Line School and College playground in the city yesterday.
Chairman of Rajshahi Education Board Prof Abdul Kalam Azad, Principal of Rajshahi College Prof Habibur Rahman, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education ad ICT) Parvej Raihan, District Education Officer Rafiqul Islam and Principal of Rajshahi Education Board Model School and College Prof Taifur Rahman took part in the open discussion. Director of Channel I Shaikh Siraj moderated the discussion.
