Shaila Sabi, Afzal Hossain act together for first time

Evergreen actor Afzal Hossain will be seen appearing as the hero of a young artiste of the current generation in a telefilm titled ‘Asim Akash’. Popular playwright-director Matia Banu Shaku has made the telefilm starring juvenile actress Shaila Sabi opposite Afzal Hossain. The telefilm has also been scripted by Shaku herself. 

In the telefilm, Afzal Hossain has played as a famous painter named Rais Ahmed, while Sabi enacted the role of his student, Rong. Coming to learning painting from her teacher, Rong falls in love with him. 
Afzal Hossain said about working in the telefilm, “Actually, I don’t act regularly nowadays. As I remain busy with different types of works, I cannot make time for acting. Working with a new director means getting introduced to the director’s new thought. Both Shaku and I have come from the art college; so that we felt a deep intimacy at the time of doing the work. On the other hand, Sabi is a young artiste from the current generation, and working with her was also an enjoyable experience.”
Shaila Sabi said, “I was very excited from the very moment when I got to know that I am going to work with Afzal Hossain. Because, the opportunity of working with such a talented actor like him cannot be missed. I am truly fascinated to work with him.”
The telefilm will be aired on ATN Bangla in any week of the next month.
