UGC chief for setting up IQAC cells at all universities

University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan today called upon all university authorities to set up an Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at their respective universities for ensuring quality of higher education, reports BSS.
“Every university has to set up IQAC with their respective funds to enhance the standard of tertiary education”, he said addressing as chief guest the inaugural ceremony of a two-day orientation workshop on 'QA Mechanism for Round-4 Universities' at UGC Auditorium in the capital.
Project Director (Additional Secretary) of Higher Education Quality Enhancement Project (HEQEP) Dr Gauranga Chandra Mohanta chaired the function.
