Huge illegal goods siezed in Khulna

KHULNA: Bangladesh Coast Gaurd (BCG) of Mongla West Zone seized a covered van caring huge illegal goods from Khanjahan Ali Bridge area in Khulna yesterday morning, reports BSS.
Lt. Commander M Fariduzzaman, operation officer of BCG Mongla West Zone,
said on secret information, they rushed to the spot and seized the goods laden covered van in an abandon condition.
The goods are included illegal foreign sarees, contraband medicine and illegal coals, worth around Tk 2.5 crore, he said.
Later the goods were handed over to Khulna Customs and a case was filed with Rupsha police station in this connection.
