For the second time in their journey, country’s popular band Souls has come up with a patriotic song. With the song titled ‘Supriyo Bangladesh’, the troupe has paid homage to the country and countrymen on the occasion of Independence Day. The lyric of the song is written by Sokal and Partha Barua has tuned it, while the music arrangement of the song has been done by Souls. The shooting of the song’s music video took place at the different locations of the country, including Chittagong, Khagrachhari, Dhaka, Dhamrai and Keraniganj. The music video of the song is made by Raja.
DhakaLive has news that marking the Independence Day, alongside YouTube, the music video has already started airing from yesterday morning on Gaan Bangla TV, Desh TV, Ekushey TV and Gazi TV.
Souls is very thrilled with their new venture. Partha Barua said, “We have been planning on the song for a long time. But due to busy schedule of us, we couldn’t make it appropriately. Finally, we have done the song ‘Supriyo Bangladesh’ with everyone devotion. This is not a song of conventional trend. We have tried to keep a little variation in the song. I believe the lyric and tune of the song will touch the hearts of the listenters.”
“For the commitment to the country and countrymen, Souls has released the song on the occasion of Independence Day. Souls family is very happy and excited with the opportunity”, Partha added.
Souls’ present lineup stands Partha Barua and Naseem (vocal), Masum (keyboard), Ashiq (drums) and Real (base guitar).
To note, Souls earlier released a patriotic song titled ‘Amra Je Bhalobasi Sonar Bangladesh-ke’ for the first time in the 80s.
