Two ‘JMB men’ put on remand

Dinajpur:  A court here has placed two suspected members of the banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) on a five-day remand each in a case filed for bomb blasts on Kantaji Temple and Eskon temple premises in Kahalore upazila during Rash Mela on December 4, 2015, reports UNB.Judge of the Senior Judicial Magistrate Court Gopal Chandra Roy passed the order on Friday when police produced them before the court seeking a 10-day remand for each of them. They are Zakir Hossain, son of Azizur Rahman, and Manik Miah, son of Hanif Miah, both residents of Nashratpur in Chirirbandar upazila of the district. Detectives arrested the duo from their houses on Friday afternoon.
