FFs get Tk 61.15 lakh as loan in Gaibandha

A total of 406 insolvent freedom fighters (FFs) of the district got loan facilities with nominal interest from government to rehabilitate themselves in the society, reports BSS from Gaibandha. The amounting of Tk 61.15 lakh were disbursed to the FFs through Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB) under its insolvent freedom fighters and their dependents training and self-employment programme. Each of the FFs received loan ranging from Tk 10,000 to 100,000 from the board, said Anisur Rahman, junior officer (Accounts) of BRDB district office.
