Body of CU student recovered

Police recovered a body of Chittagong University student from a house in west Sahid Nagar area under Bayezid Police Station in the city on Wednesday mid night.

The decease was identified as Md Alauddin Alawol, 24, a masters student of Bangla department of the university and son of Md Shah Alam of Modanhut Union under Hathazari Upazilla.
BSS adds: Officer-in-charge of Bayezid police Station Mohammad Mohsin said the body was found in the third floor toilet of a four-storied building in West Shahid Nagar area.
According to the landlord, three men and a young woman had come to the house and asked to look at a flat on the third floor, claiming they were interested in renting it. The interested renters said that the flat was to their choice and they wished to move in immediately. They told the landlord one of them would remain behind to clean the flat and saying they would return within short time, building owner said.
