14th universal Sufi festival held   
The 14th universal Sufi festival, organised by Rahe Bhander Kadhurkhil Dorbar Sharif, Boalkhali, Chittagong, was held at the Jatiya Press Club auditorium in the capital yesterday.
Many prominent Sufi Shaykh, Olama and people from different sects and religions attended the programme, said a press release. 
‘Introspective Dialogue’ was held with Rahe Bhander Silsila’s Pir Sufi Syed Zafar Sadek in the chair.
This year Rahe Bhander Ennoble Award has been distributed among 10 eminent personalities of the country- UGC chairmen Professor Abdul Mannan, Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA) president Dr. Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddin, BDjobs. com founder Fahim Mashrur, Chittagong Press Club former president Abu Sufian, famous lyricist and composer Hasan Matiur Rahman, famous Sufi Singer and researcher Farida Parvin, freedom fighter S M Murtaza Hosain, Advocate Delwar Hosain Patwari, Dr. Shah Kawsar Mustafa Abul Ulayee, renowned sufi author Mustafa Zaman Abbasi.
