The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is set to file a case against six people, including two madrasah principals, for allegedly recruiting two assistant teachers to the Islamic educational institution.
The Commission at its regular meeting on Tuesday decided to file the case against them, ACC spokesman Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
The case will soon be filed against then assistant chief of Government City College (Jessore) Md Mizanur Rahman (now assistant chief of Tala Government College, Satkhira), principal of Boga Shahkareria Alem Madrasah (Jessore) Md Ali Ahsan, governing body chairman of the madrasah SM Babar, principal of Keshabpur Darululum Mohila Madrasah Md Abdul Matin and Shamsun Nahar Sheuli and Mahmuda Khatun of Jessore.According to the ACC’s probe, Mizanur Rahman, Ali Ahsan, SM Babar and Abdul Matin in collusion with each other appointed Sheuli and Mahmuda in Boga Shahkarria Alem Madrasa in 2015, counterfeiting the signatures of government officials. It was also alleged that they took bribes from the applicants.
